Deputy Governor meets Gujjar tribal elders 

 KUNAR, May 11 – Maulana Abdullah Haqqani, the Deputy Governor of Kunar had a meeting with Gujjar tribal elders and Ulama (religious scholars) in his office in the provincial capital of Kunar province.

Mr.  Abdullah Haqqani praised the Gujjar tribal elders and Ulama for their efforts, calling for continued cooperation with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

He highlighted the importance of people’s participation in the security, social and development sectors and emphasized on the shared efforts of the people and the Islamic Emirate for the stability and sustainability of the system.
