According to a statement of the ministry of interior, the Deputy Director of Narcotics Control of the Ministry of Interior, Alhaji, Mullah Abdul Haq Akhund, met with head of the United Nations Development Agency (UNDP) Mr. Stephen Rudikius, Project Manager Vidist Kilbeek and Program Specialist Abdulhamid Umar in his office.

Both sides discussed and discussed the fight against drugs, addiction treatment, alternative cultivation for farmers and mutual assistance in this field.

 

In addition to the calling for help from the United Nations Development Council in the fight against drugs, the honorable deputy said that drugs are not only a problem in Afghanistan, but a global humanitarian crisis, unfortunately, the world did not provid the required assistence in this regard.
