KABUL, Feb. 17 – The delegation from the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan joined the 28th summit of the G5 nations, convened by Iran.
The conference, held in Tehran, Iran’s capital, saw the participation of delegates from Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and the World Health Organization. Afghan representatives delivered a speech addressing maternal health, youth development, and family mental and spiritual well-being. Furthermore, Afghan G5 delegates stressed the importance of collaborative efforts among G5 nations to enhance regional health indicators.
They highlighted the G5 partnership as a platform for exchanging regional experiences, conducting disease surveillance, and effectively responding to associated disasters.
