Under the leadership of Honorable Alhaj Nuruddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade, an official delegation from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, along with representatives from the private sector, embarked on a journey to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, according to a statement of ministry of industry and commerce of the IEA.

The primary objective of this trip is to inaugurate the inaugural Turkmen-Afghan business communication conference, which includes an exhibition showcasing Afghan products and manufacturing agents. Additionally, the delegation will engage in bilateral meetings between the private sectors of Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, as well as hold government-level discussions aimed at fostering economic growth and expanding trade and transit between the two nations.
