KABUL, Feb. 08 – Under the leadership of Alhaj Mullah Bakhtur Rahman Sharaft, the head of the Afghanistan Railway Authority (ARA), a delegation of IEA departments traveled to Uzbekistan, today to finalize the process of transferring the responsibility of the Hiraitan-Mazar-e-Sharif railway, according to a statement of ARA.

This delegation, which includes representatives from the office of Economic deputy PM, the Directorate of National Procurement and the Ministry of Finance, is also present, regarding the process of transferring the responsibilities of the Hiraitan-Mazar-Sharif railway to the Afghanistan Railway and finalizing the memorandum of understanding with the Uzbek side.

During this trip, with the signing of the memorandum of understanding, the transfer process of commercial goods from Hairitan-Mazar-Sharif railway line is supposed to start again.
