As per the ministry of national defense of the IEA, the acting Minister of National Defense Mawlawi Muhammad Yaqub “Mujahid” met the Indonesian delegation, which included former Vice President Mr. Muhammad Yusuf Kala, the current Chairman of the Council of Red Crescent and Mosques, the delegation expressed their views on the media coverage of Afghanistan.
The Acting Minister of National Defense warmly welcomed the visiting delegation and emphasized the shared interests and potential for expanding relations and cooperation between Afghanistan and Indonesia as two Islamic countries.
The Indonesian delegation, while continuing their visit to Afghanistan, shared their observations regarding security and reconstruction, stating that what they had heard in the media about Afghanistan’s security and other matters was mere propaganda.
They highlighted the significant progress achieved in the areas of security and the economy, expressing Indonesia’s readiness to collaborate and invest in various sectors in Afghanistan.
