During his speech commemorating the 105th anniversary of independence from British rule, Minister of National Defense Mawlawi Muhammad Yaqub Mujahid stressed the active preservation of the hard-earned freedom and independence rather than putting them at risk.

Mawlawi Muhammad Yaqoob Mujahid highlighted that the observance of Independence Day serves as a lesson for the younger generation regarding the challenges faced and the blessings bestowed upon them by Allah through their forefathers. Mr. Mujahid encouraged the population to prioritize unity and solidarity to protect the nation’s independence, cautioning against divisions based on ethnicity, language, or region.

Moreover, he affirmed that the Afghan people do not yield to external commands or governmental directives.
