KABUL, Aug. 31 – A large gathering of religious scholars and influential people from Kabul province was held in the Loya Jirga tent on Wednesday, with senior officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) also attending.
Addressing the gathering, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Amir Khan Muttaqi said that the opponents of the Islamic Emirate should take lessons from the past because uniting with the enemies of the country and asking them for help is not in anyone’s interest.
Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy of the prime minister, said: “Over 70 percent of the government’s budget and expenses used to be provided by foreigners. Alhamdulillah, after the end of the occupation in the hands of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, all government institutions were reorganized.”
The Acting Minister of Interior said that after the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, violence in the country has disappeared and there is one leadership in all of Afghanistan. Sirajuddin Haqqani considered maintaining unity important for the survival of the existing system.
In conclusion, the Ulema Council of Kabul Province issued a 12-point declaration.
1. The gathering of scholars and influential elders in Kabul calls the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan the fruit of the efforts and sacrifices of its mujahid people and calls its support a religious and national obligation.
2. Scholars and leaders call on the IEA to use the necessary policy in its interaction with the world, taking into account the Islamic Sharia, independence and the status of Afghanistan, national interests and the demands of the time, and also request the international community to conduct and interact reasonably and responsibly with the ruling system of Afghanistan and the ground realities, so that the necessary understanding and full official interaction between the two sides can be provided.
3. Based upon economy-oriented foreign policy, the Islamic Emirate should also strengthen economic relations with its neighbors and countries in the region, in order to increase the facilities in the country’s exports and imports and create a good market for Afghan products.
4. The participants of the meeting call on all the businessmen and capitalists of the country to increase investment in the country and provide jobs to the citizens.
5. Scholars and intellectuals want the Islamic Emirate to increase the ease of laws and governance regarding investment in minerals and construction in cities and to remove obstacles so that the processes become faster and simpler and also the work Opportunities to increase.
6. The participants of the meeting emphasized the necessity of religious and contemporary sciences in the country and the strengthening of educational and training institutions and requested the Islamic Emirate to take into account the Islamic values and the traditions of the Afghan society.
7. The scholars and the participants of the meeting were informed about the efforts of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the fight against drugs, the collection and treatment of addicts, addressing the problems of beggars and preventing the bad customs that lead to the misdirection of the society and Mushfiqana appreciates the actions and asks for more attention from the emirate in implementing reform programs in the society in a gradual and gentle manner.
8. The participants of the meeting call on all civil and military institutions of the IEA to be committed to the fight against corruption and do not allow anyone to harm the IEA, the public and the treasury.
9. The participants of the meeting express their satisfaction with the overall security and stability in the country and call upon the security and defense agencies to pay special attention to the security of the country and the protection of the borders and do not allow this to happen. Security and stability will be challenged by sedition and destructive groups.
10. The participants of the meeting seriously request the international community to provide the necessary financial assistance to the current government and to take quick steps to remove the banking sanctions and release the frozen assets of Afghanistan.
11. We, the participants of the meeting, strongly request all the officials of the Islamic Emirate to implement all the commands and decrees of His Highness Amir-ul-Mu’minin, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and deal seriously with the violators.
12. We, the participants of the meeting, once again renew our allegiance with the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin, similarly, we declare the support and support of the Islamic Emirate to all the people of Kabul province center and districts.
