BAGHLAN, Apr. 29 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate flushed the enemy forces out of 10 villages seized two combat posts, taking the country of large strategic territory,  in the Barka district of the northern province of Baghlan after hours of fighting on Friday, the first day of “Operation Mansoori”, according to Al-Emarah News.

By taking these areas, Mujahideen are now able to connect the district of Baraka with Aliabad district of northern Kunduz province, Al-Emarah reporter said.

Friday’s fighting in Barak claimed the lives a large number of the joint enemy personnel including Amir Mohammad a commander and 5 enemy soldiers were captured.

Similarly, fighting raged amid ongoing spring offensive in Baghlan-i-Markazi district of the northern province of Baghlan on Saturday, the second of the “Operation Masnoori”. A large number of the enemy soldiers lost their life as Mujahideen seized an enemy combat post in the said district, capturing a great deal of arms and ammunition with a military vehicle.

On the other hand, fighting is beginning to rage in Doshi district of Baghlan province with Mujahideen blocking off Salang highway.

Khwaja Zaid valley close to Doshi district fell after a heavy fighting. The enemy suffered heavy toll in the fighting and a vehicle was destroyed.
