On Monday refugees returned to the country through various routes, and they received necessary services in different areas. The comprehensive report of the day’s activities is as follows:
Nangarhar
Torkham (Durand Hypothetical Line)
Registration, Confirmation, and Reception Committee:
A total of 50 families comprising 282 members returned to the country and were successfully registered through Torkham.
Transport and Transfer Committee:
80 families consisting of 404 members were safely transported from Torkham to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman, and Kabul. A total amount of 236,200 Afghani rent was provided to support these families.
Services and Health Affairs Committee:
Various services were provided to returning refugees in the Torkham camp, including health services.
– Food: Today, 4,500 meals and 135,000 liters of clean water were distributed in the Torkham camps.
– Clothing: Refugees arriving at Umari Camp received the following items:
– 280 blankets
– 180 packets of drinking water
– 140 packets of raw food materials
– Communication: A total of 291 SIM cards were distributed to incoming migrants, free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.
Job Seeking Committee:
In Torkham, the employment committee recorded the following individuals:
– 6 bachelor’s degree holders
– 2 post-baccalaureate degree holders
– 2 memorizers
– 88 laborers from underprivileged backgrounds
– 60 skilled professionals

General Awareness Program:
In Torkham, 138 children received education on explosives awareness, cleanliness, child protection, and Afghanistan.
Kandahar
Spin Boldak (Durand Fictitious Line)
A total of 119 families comprising 561 members returned to the country and registered through Spin Boldak.
Finance Management Committee:
The Financial Affairs Committee provided 10,000 Afghanis to 119 families, totaling 1,190,000 Afghanis.
Transport and Shipping Committee:
9 families with 49 members from Spin Boldak were safely transported to Kandahar, Herat, Zabul, and Kabul provinces. An amount of 25,000 Afghanis was provided to support these families.
Various services, including health support, were provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:
– Food: Distribution of food and clean water took place in Spin Boldak, totaling 1,960 servings.
– Health: 55 returnees received medical treatment in Spin Boldak.
– Clothing: Tents, blankets, and other essentials were distributed to refugees in temporary camps.
– Communications: The Telecommunication Services Agency distributed 400 SIM cards with free minutes and internet packages to returning refugees at no cost.
Recruitment Committee:
– The employment committee in Spin Boldak recorded the following individuals:
– 5 bachelor’s degree holders
– 1 Hafiz (memorizer of the Quran)
– 2 religious scholars
– 148 laborers from underprivileged backgrounds
– 90 skilled professionals

Information and Public Awareness Committee:
Public awareness activities were conducted for the returning refugees in Spin Boldak today:
Refugees received useful information about registration, transportation, financial assistance, temporary settlement, as well as understanding the country, Islamic system, migration, patience, tolerance, and education.
Cooperation with the media was established to facilitate reporting.
Zabul
Shamulzay Line (Durand Hypothetical Line)
3 families comprising 25 members returned to the country and completed the registration process.
1 family consisting of 8 members from the Shamalzo Road route was safely transported to the Arghandab district of Zabul Province. The family received 6,500 Afghani rent for their support.
The Financial Affairs Committee provided a total of 30,000 Afghani in cash to 3 families.
Various services, including health support, were provided to the returning refugees along the Shamalzo route:
– Food: 28 meals and clean water were distributed in Shamalzo.
– Health: 7 returnees received medical treatment in Shamalzo.
Public awareness activities were conducted for the returning refugees in Shamalzo today:
Paktika
Angor Ada (Durand Fictitious Line)
4 families comprising 29 members returned to the country and completed the registration process at Angur base.
6 families with a total of 37 individuals were safely transported to their respective areas and villages from Angur Aday.
The Financial Affairs Committee provided 10,000 Afghanis to 3 families in Angur Adha, totaling 30,000 Afghanis.
Various services, including health support, were provided to the returning refugees at Angur base:
– Food: 133 meals, food, and clean water were distributed to refugees at Angoor base today.
– Health: 64 returning refugees received medical treatment at Angur base.
– Communication: The Department of Communication Services distributed free SIM cards with free minutes and internet packages to the returning refugees.
Public awareness activities were conducted for the returning refugees at Angur base today:
Refugees were provided with useful information regarding registration, transportation, financial assistance, short-term settlement, understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience, tolerance, education, and a better future for children.
Herat
Islam Kala Fort
45 families comprising 93 members returned to the country and completed the registration process at Islam Fort.
The Financial Affairs Committee provided 10,000 Afghanis to 38 families on the way to Islam Fort, totaling 380,000 Afghanis.
Nimroz
Silk Road
39 families with 119 members returned to the country through the Silk Road of Nimruz province and were successfully registered. Additionally, 1,524 travelers also returned to the country.
The Financial Affairs Committee donated 10,000 Afghanis to 11 families on the way to Islam Fort, amounting to a total of 110,000 Afghanis.
Temporary Settlement Committee:
In Nimroz, 29 families consisting of 89 members were accommodated in a short-term settlement camp. Arrangements for accommodation, clothing, and food were made for these families, and the IOM organization provided cash and non-cash assistance.
Various services, including health support, were provided to the returning refugees on the Silk Road of Nimroz province:
– Communication: 37-digit SIM cards were distributed to refugees free of charge, including free minutes and internet packages.
Public awareness sessions were conducted for 37 refugees on the Silk Road of Nimruz Province:
Refugees received valuable information regarding registration, transportation, financial assistance, short-term settlement, understanding of the country, Islamic system, migration, patience, tolerance, education, and training.
*Kabul*
*Committee on Transport and Shipping:*
Today, 37 families comprising 81 members were safely transported to Kunduz, Balkh, and Khost provinces. The total cost of car rental for these families amounted to 135,500 Afghanis.
*Committee for Attracting and Mobilizing Aid for Refugee Affairs:*
Today, Mr. Qari Din Muhammad Hanif, the head of the committee for attracting and mobilizing aid for refugee affairs, held a meeting with the Japanese ambassador and the delegation. During the meeting, both sides discussed the challenges faced by refugees. The Japanese ambassador, in his speech, mentioned that he fulfilled his promise by discussing the issues of Afghan refugees with his country’s leaders. As a result, Japan has pledged to donate fifty-eight million and four hundred thousand dollars through various institutions to help Afghan refugees.
Kabul
Committee for Permanent Settlement of Refugees and Land Distribution:
Under the leadership of Honorable Sheikh Hamdullah Nomani, acting minister of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, the Committee for Permanent Settlement of Refugees and Land Distribution held a meeting with the committee members in attendance. The committee discussed the settlement and transfer of unallocated lands in immigrant towns across the country that have not been addressed previously.
Mr. Naumani entrusted the committee members with the task of obtaining necessary approvals from the relevant authorities of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to facilitate the process of settling and transferring lands in refugee towns through the appropriate agencies. The acting minister emphasized that these measures will help streamline the distribution of lands and scores to returning migrants.

– Total Transferred Migrants: 133 families and 579 individuals.
– Total Assisted Migrants: 174 families.
