Nangarhar:

(Torkham)

Registration, Confirmation & Reception Committee:

The biometric & registration of 119 families is successfully completed. The Committee for Financial Procedures: The returning 90 families obtained 10,000 AFN each. The Committee for Transportation & Transfer: The returning 72 families with 362 associates are transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman & Kabul provinces. All the families in general obtained 900,000 AFN.

Health affairs & Services Committee:

The returning 5000 refugees were given Meals & Water in Omari Camp, along with 135,000 liters of purified water, wearing clothes, 300 Blankets, 80 Bottles dish washing liquid & 80 Packages of raw foods. The refugees also obtained 343 SIM cards as well.

Information & Public Awareness Committee:

The refugees were given adequate information regarding the registration, Transportation, Financial assistance, Temporary settlements and public awareness programs.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak

Registration, Confirmation & Reception Committee:

The returning 72 families with 409 associates through Spin Boldak route were registered, among which 72 families with desperate need were introduced to various charitable organization.

Financial affairs Committee:

The returning 201 families obtained 10,000 AFN each.

Transportation & Transfer Committee:

The returning 55 families with 332 associates were transported to Kandahar, Uruzghan, Ghazni, Zabul Herat and Kabul provinces paying 60, 000 AFN as rent as well.

Health affairs & Services Committee: 

The 3,400 returning refugees were given Lunch along with distribution of 80,000 liters of clean water. The refugees in temporary shelters obtained Tents, Blankets and winter clothes. With 300 SIM Cards distributed with free minutes & internet.

Information & Public Awareness Committee:

The refugees were informed regarding the registration Transportation, Financial assistance, Temporary settlements and public awareness programs, in addition, the preservations of peacefulness & gratitude was requested.

Angor Ada (Durand Fictitious Line)

Registration, Confirmation & Reception Committee:

The returning 1 family through Angor Ada route was registered.

Transportation & Transfer Committee:

The returning 1 family was transported to related district & village.

 Financial Affairs Committee:

The returning 1 family obtained 10,000 AFN.

The Committee for Health Affairs & Services:

The returning 67 families were provided meals & water. Medical examination & treatment of 21 Patients was witnessed.

Information & Public Awareness Committee:

The refugees were given information regarding the registration, Transportation, Financial assistance, Temporary settlements and public awareness programs, in addition, the preservations of peacefulness & gratitude was directed.

Nimroz Province

Registration, Confirmation & Reception Committee:

The registration & Biometric of 29 families with 112 associates was carried out. The registration of 1,334 individuals returned to their country among which 136 were pointed out as in desperate needs of help are introduced to IOM organization.

Committee for Financial Affairs’:

The returning 8 families obtained 10,000 AFN each.

Temporary Settlements Committee:

The returning 22 families with 78 associates were given temporary shelters along with all the basic supplies of life from IOM organization.

Health Affairs & Services Committee:

The returning refugees obtained 29 SIM Cards with free minutes & internet, along with health facilities.

Information & Public awareness Committee :

The returning 112 refugees were given information regarding public awareness programs. The refugees were given information regarding the registration, Transportation, Financial assistance, and Temporary settlement.
