The Afghanistan Electricity Company (DABS) has recently entered into an agreement with the Chinese company “Shenzhen Kilo Meters” for the procurement of one-phase and three-phase meters. Mr. Mullah Muhammad Hanif Hamza, the CEO of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, signed the agreement, which amounts to a total of 2.7 million US dollars.

 

According to the Afghanistan Electricity Company, the meters provided by “Shenzhen Kilo Meters” adhere to specific electricity standards. These meters will be utilized by the company to enhance the existing network infrastructure and support new development projects. Importing these meters is expected to resolve many customer issues, ensuring they have access to standardized meters at an affordable price.
