DAB to auction 14m USD on Sunday

KABUL, Aug. 26 – Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) wants to auction 14 million USD on Sunday, said the central bank in a statement.

The central Bank of Afghanistan requests all eligible commercial banks and exchange and financial services companies to participate in this tender and successful bidders are required to settle their accounts by the end of the auction day, added the statement.

According to statemwnt partial settlement of the transactions is not allowed in the currency auction bid, the successful tenderer shall pay the price of obligation once in cash to the Bank of Afghanistan within a specified period.
