KABUL, Sep. 14 – Da Afghan Breshna Sherkat announced to pay all debts of the Uzbekistan electricity contract by the end of September, adding the contract will be renewed.


Mullah Muhammad Hanif Hamza the CEO of DABS made the statement during a video conference with the officials of the neighboring country Uzbekistan on Thursday.


Debts of the electricity and deals of other 500kv power for the Surkhan-Pul-Khomari were discussed between the two sides in this video conference, said DABS officials.


Chief operating officer of DABS Safiullah Ahmadzai said that the Surkhan-Pul-Khomri 500KV power line project was financed by the Asian Development Bank, which later on stopped due to some evaluation process by the Asian Development Bank.

 He added hat Da Afghan Breshna Sherkat hopes that the Asian Development Bank to resume work on the project shortly.
