Convoy repelled in Maiwand

KANDAHAR, Feb. 23 – Officials say, Mujahideen encountered enemy troops arriving Chashmo area of Miwand district for an operation afternoon hours yesterday, sparking heavy clashes of heavy and light arms that forced the enemy to retreat after sustaining heavy casualties.
