NIMROZ, May. 24 – The construction of an incomplete 100-bed hospital in Nimroz province has resumed under the guidance of the Islamic Emirate, said local officials of public health department of the province.

According to Abdul Rehman Abdullah the head of Nimrom Public health the hospital is worth $200,000. It has five blocks, two of which will be two storeys and the other three blocks will be single storeys.

A private contractor was paid a large percentage of the cost to complete the hospital, but was unable to complete it. Now, work has resumed to finish the hospital as soon as possible.

 

Currently, there is only one provincial hospital in Zaranj city, which does not meet the needs of the people of Nimroz. Residents are happy that the work of this hospital will be completed as soon as possible so their patients are treated.
