    KANDAHAR, Mar. 15 – Construction work on a dam inaugurated in Kandahar province. The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock has started construction work on a 45 million AFN dam in Kandahar’s Spin Boldak district. The dam has a storage capacity of 10 million cubic meters of water, which will irrigate 40,000 acres of land.
