The construction and activation of the water dam in Sardar village of Arghistan district, costing 3.4 million Afghanis, were completed within three months under the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock’s development budget.
Officials from the Department of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock have indicated that the check dam, measuring 87 meters in length, four meters in width, and seven meters in height, has been primarily constructed and is now operational.
The primary aim of this check dam is to gather rainwater and enhance the groundwater level, providing significant benefits to numerous farmers and livestock breeders in the area.
