The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development inaugurated the construction of a terminal (base) for passenger vehicles at the cost of 68 million Afghanis in Maidan Shaar, the capital of Maidan Wardak province, which will provide employment to a thousand people.
In the opening meeting held on this occasion, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development Mawlawi Hamdullah Nomani said: This terminal is one of the economic projects of the Islamic Emirate, which is being built on 38 acres of land, and the entire financial cost is from the development budget of the Islamic Emirate. is given According to Mr. Wazir, the said project is being completed in two parts, the work of the first part will be started at the cost of 23 million Afghanis and the rest will be completed in the future.
Meanwhile, the governor of Maidan Wardak thanked the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development for starting this economic project for the people of Maidan Wardak and added; With the construction of this terminal, many facilities will be created for the passengers of the southern provinces.
Engineer Obaid, who is responsible for the construction of the bridge, said: This tunnel has the capacity to stop 200 cars and will provide work space for 1000 thousand people and its works will be completed in 9 months.
