    At a cost of 2.23 million Afghanis, a compact water storage dam in Farah Rud district of Farah province has been finished and is now operational.

    Mohammad Nasim Sarhang, the director of the Farah Rural Development Department, mentioned that the Ministry of Rural Development constructed this petite dam in Azizullah village, Farah Rud district, completing the project within a three-month timeframe.

    The dam spans 31 meters in length, 5 meters in height, and has the capacity to store 19,800 cubic meters of water.
