According to officials from Kandahar Municipality, construction work is currently in progress for a standard retaining wall along both sides of a significant river located in the thirteenth district of Kandahar city. The retaining wall measures 120 cm in height, 70 cm in width, and spans a length of 1940 meters.
The officials have further highlighted that the project has created employment opportunities for 150 individuals. Among the workforce, 25 individuals are engaged in professional roles, while 125 individuals are contributing in non-professional capacities.
