The mayor of Maimaneh city, along with the head of the environment in Faryab province and the deputy of the municipal advisory board for the first district, laid the cornerstone for a 50-meter retaining wall.

This wall, measuring 50 meters in length, 2.5 meters in width, and 7 meters in height, will be constructed and operationalized by a private company.

The project, valued at 1,878,714 Afghanis from Maimaneh municipality’s development budget, aims to enhance the area by fortifying the public sea bridge, safeguarding municipal commercial assets, and improving aesthetics.

Additionally, this initiative has created job opportunities for 20 individuals during its execution.
