The construction works of Qushtepa-Darzab road related to Jawzjan province started today, the road which is in three lots, have been contracted by the Ministry of of public works with three different construction companies at an estimated value of 1.4 billion Afghanis.

The event was launched in the presence of Mawlawi Asadullah Masroor, head of public works of the province, and a number of local officials.
This road with a length of 51 kilometers starts from Qushtepa district of Jawzjan province and reaches Darzab district of this province which includes the construction of two bridges, 137 culverts, retaining walls and road edges.
The first lot is 19.8 kilometers long, starting from Nawabad area of ​​Qushtepa and then to Taraghli area, the second lot is 17.46 kilometers long from Taraghli to Shirbek area and the third lot is 13.5 kilometers long to reaches up to Darzab district.
With the construction of the said road, people’s transportation problems will be solved compared to before and significant facilities will be created in the fast and safe transportation of commercial and agricultural goods.
The Ministry of Public Works is always trying to create complete transportation facilities for citizens by constructing, repairing and rehabilitating the highways and roads of the country.
