This dam is designed to have a water storage capacity of up to 54 million cubic meters. Over 300 individuals, including foreign engineers, are involved in the construction process, according to project authorities.
Additionally, officials from the Herat river basin project anticipate that the Pashdan Dam will not only support agriculture and irrigation but also generate two megawatts of electricity upon completion.
