At Laghman Provincial Hospital, construction is underway for a new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) building, with a total estimated cost of 14 million Afghanis.

 

In attendance at the ceremony marking this event were Sheikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani, the Governor of Laghman, Dr. Samiullah Abed Niazi, Director of Public Health, and several other officials representing various provincial departments. The Director of Public Health in Laghman stated that this two-story structure will be constructed over the course of three months, utilizing funds from the internal budget of the Islamic Emirate. The building, comprising 15 rooms, will be equipped with essential medical apparatus, significantly alleviating issues faced by patients in the emergency department.
