NURISTAN, Jan. 28 – The Ministry of Public Works has successfully completed the construction of Kurdar bridge in Wama district along the Nuristan-Kunar main road. The bridge, costing 16 million Afghanis, was officially inaugurated in the presence several local officials.
The Kordar bridge spans 26 meters in length and 4.9 meters in width, with retaining walls measuring 1330 cubic meters on both sides and a height of 5 meters.
It is noteworthy that the completion of this bridge will significantly address the transportation challenges faced by residents of Kunar and Nuristan provinces, improving their connectivity compared to the previous conditions.
