The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Helmand Police Headquarters building has taken place:
During a ceremony today, the foundation stone of the new Helmand Police Headquarters building, valued at 75 million Afghanis, was laid.
At the event, Helmand Governor Alhaji Maulvi Abdul Rahman Muslim Kunduzi expressed that the project is scheduled to be finalized and operational within 10 to 15 months.
The upcoming three-story building will include a conference hall, a guest house, and associated amenities alongside administrative departments. It is intended to serve as the central headquarters for the police force.
