Construction of Check Dam Completed in Paktika

Officials in Paktika province have announced the successful construction and commissioning of a check dam in the Khairkot district. The project, costing 3,290,000 Afghanis, has resulted in the establishment of a small water reservoir.

With a storage capacity of 8,360 cubic meters, this dam is expected to address water scarcity issues faced by the local residents. Additionally, it will contribute to the replenishment of underground water levels in the area.
