Farah Municipality has initiated the construction of a standardized slaughterhouse and animal enclosure, amounting to 6 million Afghanis, on a 45-acre plot of land in the eighth district utilizing the development budget.

The Director of Technical and Professional Affairs at Farah Municipality stated during the project’s commencement that the site is situated on the northern side of the Ring Road, approximately 1 kilometer away from the city center.

This slaughterhouse will serve as a regulated facility for the slaughter, sale, and purchase of animals. Upon its completion within a span of 3 months, not only the residents of Farah city but also those in neighboring districts will have access to amenities for animal slaughter and trade.
