The Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Bamyan Province initiated the establishment of seven water supply networks in various villages of the Yaka-Wa-Lang 1 district of the province, at a total cost of 32 million Afghanis.
These networks entail the excavation of two ring wells with depths of 70 and 80 meters, the construction of clean water reservoirs with capacities of 10, 20, and 30 cubic meters, the installation of 500 water taps, and the laying of a pipeline spanning 29,500 meters.
Throughout the implementation of these networks, numerous job opportunities will be created for laborers. Upon completion, approximately 1,000 families in the district will gain access to clean drinking water.
