Construction of 20 schools in Kandahar funded by the United Nations Children’s Fund, inaugurated on Sunday.

 

In 11 districts of Kandahar, 20 schools are currently under construction with financial backing from the United Nations Children’s Fund, facilitated by the Kandahar Department of Economy, totaling 178 million Afghanis.

 

Kandahar’s economic authorities have confirmed that the construction of these educational facilities commenced yesterday, with an anticipated completion timeline of six months.

 

These schools are being erected in Panjawai, Arghandab, Shawalikot, Khakreez, Mian-e-shin, Nish, Dand, Daman, Arghstan, Maruf, and Spin Boldak districts, with each capable of accommodating 240 students simultaneously.
