Construction has commenced on two water supply networks in Ghazni province. The Ghazni Provincial Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department has initiated the building of these networks in Faizabad and Sikandar Khel villages of Nawa district. The project, costing over 13 million Afghanis, involves the creation of two clean water reservoirs with a capacity of 20 cubic meters, pipe installation, solar panel connections, and 291 taps.

The development is not only expected to provide employment for numerous workers during the construction phase but also grant access to clean drinking water for 474 families residing in these villages upon completion.
