As per the ministry of water and a energy in the presence of the Acting Minister of Water and Energy, a ceremony took place in Ghazni province where ten check dams were officially handed over for utilization.

 

Today, in Ghazni Province, the Acting Minister of Water and Energy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Alhaj Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, presided over the event in which Emirate officials and numerous civilians were in attendance as the Ministry of Water and Energy presented ten check dams, constructed at a cost of approximately forty million Afghanis, to serve the local community.

 

These check dams have been built with the purpose of storing rain and snow water, mitigating floods, irrigating crops, and replenishing underground water sources. The people of the region expressed their satisfaction and gratitude for this valuable initiative and the ministry’s service.

 

Furthermore, during a meeting with Ghazni Province’s Governor, Hafiz Mohammad Amin Jan Omari, and Deputy Governor, Mawlawi Rahimullah Mahmood, the Acting Minister of Water and Energy discussed ongoing and future water and energy projects in the province. The Honorable Minister assured them that the Ministry of Water and Energy remains committed to implementing additional projects within the available resources of Ghazni Province.
