The Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Kandahar Province initiated the implementation of three water supply networks in Arghistan District. The cost of these projects surpasses 16.9 million Afghanis.
These networks entail the excavation of three wells at depths of 110 and 90 meters, the establishment of three clean water reservoirs with capacities of 20 and 50 cubic meters, the installation of a pipeline spanning 18,481 meters, the connection of 66 solar panels, and the installation of 209 taps.
Throughout the construction of these networks, numerous employment opportunities will be extended to workers. Upon their completion, approximately 655 families residing in the aforementioned district will gain access to safe and potable water.
