    KABUL, Sep. 28 According to ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development the country has been experiencing drought for a number of years, and as a result, there is not enough water to irrigate the agricultural regions.

    In order to store rainwater, the ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development is building check dams in 142 districts throughout 13 provinces.

    Within three months, construction works of these check dams will be finished, and commissioned.
