Conference on promoting education held in Takhar

 TAKHAR, Dec. 7  – A conference on ways to improve education and preaching & guidance attended by a large number was set up by commission of education and learning in northern Afghanistan early Wednesday.

The aims of the conference was to bring together the tribesmen and tribal elders, teachers and students of schools and Madaris as well as renowned Ulama and scholars took place in Ishkamish district of northern Takhar province early today.

The meeting began with the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran followed by speeches as well as talks on different topics and current issues during the meeting.

The participants during the meeting pledged their support to Islamic Emirate and declared that they would offer their full cooperation and assistance to Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate. The meeting concluded with prayers.
