In the eighth district of Jalalabad city, the ongoing process of concreting a 566-meter-long road and canals is advancing.
Administered by Jalalabad Municipality and financially backed by the World Bank, with technical collaboration from the United Nations Organization (UNOPS), the initiative involves concreting a 566-meter-long and 5-meter-wide road in the twenty-fifth corner of the eighth district. Officials state that approximately 70 local residents have been employed throughout the execution of this project.
Furthermore, authorities mention that the entire expense of this project, amounting to 5.3 million Afghanis, is being covered by the World Bank.
