Commander killed, tank destroyed in Farah

FARAH, Jan. 18 – A hireling commander – Muhammad s/o Naik Muhammad – was killed and his rifle seized amid a Mujahideen ambush close to Nazo Maktab area of Farah city overnight.
Furthermore, a hirleing tank was shred into pieces by a heavy artillery fire after Mujahideen engaged an enemy convoy in Abdullah Khel area of Farahrod district midday yesterday, leaving several gunmen killed or hurt while a Mujahid combatant embraced martyrdom and 3 others were hurt.
According to details, Mujahideen fighter are still befittingly responding to enemy frontline whereas they are targeting civilian areas from the remote positions.
