KANDAHAR, Jul. 18 – A hireling commander – Akhtar Muhammad – was killed by a sniper in Eshaqzo area of Maruf district last night. Similarly, an enemy trooper – Abdul Jabbar was seriously wounded in a bomb blast in Ghondi area of the said district early this morning. Separately, 2 more puppets were critically wounded in an exchange of fire with Mujahideen in Garhang area of the said district.
