HELMAND, Feb. 07 – Mujahideen managed to overrun a check post in Awpashak Manda area of Gerishk district last night following an intense gunfight of heavy and light arms, killing 7 police including commander Ismael Barakzai.
According to details, an APC, 1 PKM machine gun, 1 RPG launcher, 2 rifles and other tools were confiscated from the post, too.
It must be mentioned that 4 enemy check posts have been overrun in Nad Ali and Marjah districts of the same province last night.
