KANDAHAR, Jun. 10 – Amid ongoing Al Khandaq Operations, Mujahideen attacked an Arbaki check post in Tangi area, Nagahan region of Arghandab district last night.

Attacks of heavy, light and sniper arms lasted till late night hours, resulting in the post overrun completely after killing 17 ALP gunmen killed and their commander – Muhammad Nabi – wounded.

Meanwhile, clashes took place against enemy reinforcement troops arriving the scene, destroying an APC and ranger pickup, killing 15 Arbakis inside.

2 PK machine guns, 1 RPG launcher, 1 82 artillery, 9 rifles, 1 binocular and other equipment was recovered from the post.

It is mentionable that a key enemy military base was overrun in Shawalikot district of the same province, killing more than 35 puppets and arresting 6 others while seizing a sizable amount of war spoils.
