It’s been roughly 15 months since the Islamic Emirate took power. Even though the two nations’ ties are typically good during this time, there are occasionally a number of issues near the borders.

Additionally, gates and roads are closed for a while. The Torkham gate closure last week, which left numerous individuals and commercial vehicles trapped in both directions, was the most recent incident.

Closing the doors and closing the highways does not solve the issue; in fact, it makes the issue worse and causes more misery for the traders and adjacent tribes on both sides. As an importer, Afghanistan imports some goods from Pakistan and Pakistan imports some goods from Afghanistan, including coal, fresh fruit, and other items. By obstructing the roads, this process is hampered, which is bad for the citizens of both countries.

The governments and policy makers of both countries need to solve their problems through understanding and dialogue and protect each other’s interests. Both countries need each other in economic and security areas, insecurity and instability on each side of the line have negative effects on the other side, and its stability is a guarantee of stability and development on the other side.

The only route for Pakistan to trade with Central Asian nations and obtain its own energy needs is through Afghanistan. Additionally, Afghanistan depends heavily on Pakistan for trade with India and access to the sea. Since each side’s interests are intertwined, no side can develop to its full potential without the other’s stability and advancement.

The traditional policy of various nations around the world, which was tried and failed, was to reject one another. Currently, nations around the world are attempting to establish cordial ties with one another for mutual gain. Taking advantage of chances to expand their economy and work together to solve issues.

The insecurity and instability in Pakistan should not be attributed to Afghanistan because it predated the Islamic Emirate’s authority and because Pakistani authorities should not permit anti-Afghan organisations and factions to operate there.

The political and military leaders of Afghanistan and Pakistan should also forge cordial ties based on the axis of two sovereign nations, safeguard one another’s interests, and refrain from acting hostilely against one another and appropriate to the needs of the two Muslim and surrounding countries, to live in peace, happiness, and contentment.
