Clarification of Islamic Emirate concerning attack on Ministry of Interior

The attack which took place inside the old Ministry of Interior building yesterday, we can confidently say that target was the enemy and the true brunt was also borne by the workers of this Ministry due to the following reasons:

1 – The enemy confesses that the attacker passed the first gate or checkpoint; so if you pass the first gate and reach the second, it is illogical to claim that civilians or a bazaar would be present.

 

2 – Many media outlets including the BBC reported that the attack took place in an area which was restricted to government workers only. Similarly the map of the attack shows that key security offices like the intelligence, counter-terrorism and other government structures are based here, proving that only government workers are allowed entry to this zone.

 

3 – We understand that the failed and bruised enemy seeks to paint such assaults as attacks on civilians therefore it has forced media outlets to broadcast reports and images of civilian instead of military losses. To prove their baseless claims, they have even resorted to publishing old images from Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan as those of this attack.

All this proves that the enemy is unable to corroborate their claims of civilian losses with true testimonies and pictures.

 

4 – Barring reporters and cameras from the attack site for several hours in itself proves that the Kabul regime is hiding police casualties.

 

5 – Our martyrdom seeker and his guides had observed the area and enemy movements with the help of insiders in the Ministry of Interior for a long time. Only then were they able to execute their plan and reach their target.

 

6 – Out nation and people must rest assured that the Islamic Emirate – Allah forbid – does not have any intention of harming innocent civilians. A good proof of this in the attack on Intercontinental Hotel where the martyrdom seekers only searched for foreign invaders and left our countrymen alone. However we must be vigilant about the failed enemy that has begun utilizing its latest plot of distorting facts about such incidents through their powerful media and promote claims about civilian losses in order to confuse the public and apply pressure. But the enemy must rest assured that such fiction and lies can never alter reality or deviate common thinking.

 

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has a very clear message for Trump and his stooges. If you want to play power politics and talk through the barrel of the gun, then do not expect roses from the Afghans either and await such replies. But if you understand principles of logic and understanding then know that we have a clear policy about peaceful politics and understanding.
