Chinese Ambassador meets Minister of Foreign Affairs

KABUL, May. 23 – Today, the Chinese Ambassador Mr. Wang Yu met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the IEA, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, at his office, said foreign ministry in a statement.

The Chinese envoy stated that his country has kept cordial relations with Afghanistan and wants to further them at this meeting.

 

In addition to starting of direct flights between Afghanistan and China on May 24 he said, the Republic Hospital will be rebuilt, Miss Ainak Mine preliminary work will be expedited, and Afghanistan’s exports to China, particularly pomegranates, will expand.

 

 

 

Minister Muttaqi welcomed these steps of China, and called the start of flights between the two countries as a good opportunity to strengthen relations and asked for more facilities in the payment of visas.

 

The two side also discuessd other important issues in this meeting.
