The Chinese Ambassador, Zhao Sheng, recently held a meeting with Mullah Hidayatullah Badri Sahib, the Minister of Mines and Petroleum, in Kabul.

The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has reported that the meeting focused on several key areas, including the enhancement of relations between China and Afghanistan, the resolution of issues related to the Amu oil field project, the commencement of practical work at the Masayink mine, and the expeditious progress of these projects.

 

During the meeting, Ambassador Zhao Sheng expressed his keenness to foster cooperation between the two nations, particularly in the mining sector. The discussion highlighted the shared interest in advancing mutual collaboration and promoting the development of Afghanistan’s mining industry through bilateral efforts.
