China to continue supporting Afghanistan’s stance on global platforms

In a meeting with Li Chen, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China, and Zhao Sheng, the Chinese Ambassador to Kabul, Mr. Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Administrative Deputy Prime Minister, emphasized that China should maintain a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council to continue supporting Afghanistan’s international position.

Mr. Hanafi further stated that the Islamic Emirate upholds the One China policy and endorses the nation’s significant development initiatives.

 

Meanwhile, Li Chen, the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China, commended the Islamic Emirate as a unified and autonomous government that has recently paved the way for the commencement of the Mes Aynak mine after considerable delays.

 

Li Chen also highlighted the enduring historical and close ties between China and Afghanistan across various domains.
