The Ministry of National Defense’s Chief of Staff attended the graduation ceremony of 700 personnel from the Abdullah bin Masoud Joint Combat Training Command.
According to ministry of national defense of the IEA on Monday amid special ceremony, 700 young personnel completed the 10th course at the Abdullah bin Masoud Joint Combat Training Command after undergoing a three-month military and ideological training program focused on education and personnel development.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of various dignitaries, including Chief of Staff Al-Hajj Qari Muhammad Fasihuddin “Fitrat,” esteemed scholar Sheikh of the Quran and Hadith, Mufti Najibullah “Muneeb,” Deputy Director of the Education and Personnel Department, Maulvi Baz Muhammad “Hamidi,” Director of the Education and Doctrines Department, Sheikh Dad Muhammad “Mohammadi,” Director of the Religious, Cultural and Good Conduct Department, Maulvi Sayed Agha “Abu Maqbool Akif,” Commander of the Joint Combat Training Command, Maulvi Nasibullah “Madani,” along with numerous officials, scholars, and leaders.
During his address at the ceremony, Chief of Staff Qari Muhammad Fasihuddin “Fitrat” highlighted the importance of military training for the Islamic National Army. He emphasized, “Our aim is to provide Mujahideen with advanced weaponry and military knowledge alongside intellectual training. However, the formation and training of the Islamic Army are not geared towards conflict with neighboring nations or others, but rather for safeguarding our borders and upholding Islamic principles.”
He reiterated the stance of preferring dialogue and reconciliation over the use of force or hostilities with neighboring countries or the international community. However, he made it clear that any aggression would be met with a response, much like how they have dealt with other major powers in the past.
The officials further reinforced the commitment to defend the country in accordance with the teachings of Islam and stressed the importance of maintaining strength, protecting the nation’s resources, treating the people well, and earning their trust.
It is noteworthy that the 700 graduated Mujahideen received training from knowledgeable and religious instructors in various fields such as Sharia, Prophet’s teachings, physical fitness, diving, military strategies, checkpoint operations, handling light and heavy weaponry, legal rights, literacy, communal systems, and healthcare.
