Check post overrun in Saripul, 2 gunmen surrender

SARIPUL, Oct. 25 – Officials say a hireling check post located in Qara Khwal area of Sayyad district was overrun as result of a Mujahideen attack overnight, forcing the enemy to flee after suffering heavy casualties that are unknown yet.
It is said that a sizable amount of was tolls were confiscated.
Moreover, as many as 2 local militiamen have repented their mistakes and left enemy ranks in the surroundings of Sheram district early this morning, handing over a rifle to Mujahideen, too.
