Check post overrun in Nahr Siraj, 6 killed

HELMAND, May. 01 – Mujahideen attacked an enemy check post in Popalzo area of Nahr Siraj region of Gerishk district at 9:00 pm local time last night, overrunning the post after killing 6 puppets and forcing the res to flee, leaving a PKM machine gun, 1 RPG launcher, 5 rifles and other equipment behind on the battle ground.

A Mujahid was also wounded during the operation.
