    • Check post overrun in Herat, 2 killed

    HERAT, June. 28 – Reports arriving from Adreskan district of Herat province say that Mujahideen assaulted a hireling check post located in Karezak area overnight, amid ongoing ‘Operation Omari’. The check post was overrun, killing 2 gunmen inside and forcing others to flee. 4 rifles and 4 motorbikes were also seized in the successful operation.
